Colors and their use in the interior: creating a cozy atmosphere.

You have started redecorating the house? Then you have the perfect opportunity to depart from the standards and to experiment with colors. Since they have a psychological effect on our body, mind and emotions, some colors are best suited for the interior than others.

1. Green
Green — is a very calming color associated with stability and relaxation. It fills the gap between warm and cold tones, bringing together pleasant shades of blue and vibrant yellow. For these reasons, green — is an excellent choice for the bedroom. It is not necessary to paint the walls, enough to buy a green closet or a pleasant green linen. In addition, a great way to add greenery to your apartment — is a plant.

2. Blue
Blue and pale blue are often considered as very soothing colors that many people associate with the water world. Soothing effect of the blue color makes it ideal for the home office, since it contributes to the psychological performance. Instead of painting the walls in dark blue — it can be pretty depressing — use light blue accents in the room, such as office furniture or carpet.

3. Red
Red — is the most exciting color, and it is often associated with power. Surprisingly, it is the red color that stimulates the appetite — so it is ideal for interior of a dining room or kitchen. Try pictures or photos in massive orange frames, and if you’re feeling more daring, paint all the walls in a light orange color.

6. Purple
Purple — is a very intense color, which is associated with luxury and wealth. Saturated shades can be very distracting and a little overwhelming mentally, but if you pick a calm tone, such as lavender, it is perfect for any kind of decoration.
